For almost 150 years now, Unitarian Universalists have been gathering in Wellesley Hills. They have fostered intellectual curiosity, new ideas, progressive values, democratic ideals, equal rights, and liberal religious thought here in Metrowest Boston. Although this is a close-knit community, it has kept its doors wide open - to the Chapel, Sanctuary, Parish Hall, and a community center. If you find yourself here, either as a newcomer, visitor, or returnee, please know you will be very gladly met!
In our Rice House offices, we’ve hung an antique sign from an old Universalist church in our area that reads: EVERYBODY WELCOME. That continues to be the spirit of this place — ‘Everybody welcome, period’. Generations of people have found their religious home in our midst. Whatever your situation in life, wherever you find yourself on your spiritual journey, here you are welcomed without qualification or reservation, exactly as you are. UU Wellesley is happy to get to know you, and we hope you get to know us even better over time.
